Bow & District Historical Society is a charitable organisation whose purpose is to provide information to the people living in and around Bow about the archaeology, history and present circumstances of the area. Included also in the Society’s remit is the preservation of local archaeological sites, buildings and historical objects for the benefit of future generations. The Society achieves these objectives by inviting both expert speakers and knowledgeable local people to give lectures to the membership and by visits to local historical places of interest, exhibitions, leaflets and printed records of the history of Bow.
Meetings are held in Bow Village Hall, on the 4th Monday of the month, 7.15pm for 7.30pm start.
